On this clear and sunny day my friend Gustav and i went to Hoogerheide to witness the CX cross. We went early to secure a descent parkingspot and were there at 9 o'clock. We walked around the streets passing all the various campers, busses and even simple cars to spot riders and get new cards or to have them sign cards we brought with us. During the day i was lucky enough to get a grand total of 71!!! cards signed. For a cross day this is a extremely good result. I did not look for Mathieu van der Poel's sig because he is always crowded by fans and we will see him at the Amstel Gold Race when everything goes well.
I did find it kind of akward to see topriders like van der Poel and Iserbyt drive up in a flamboyant Lamborghini and mercedes AMG while on the other side of the road Japanees and Australian riders were selling their rider cards for €1 to help pay for their accomodation and material.

Nice pictures! Love the one with Nieuwenhuis. Hate the show cars, so not cycling this way. Reminds me of Hamilton in F1, no good.
